ADVENTURES IN BAKED MAC & CHEESE LAND

My mac and cheese came out pretty well. I think I added a tad too much onion, but Andy said he couldn’t taste it, and he doesn’t like onions. Next time, I will either use a food processor for the onion, try onion powder, or just not use onion at all. I also subbed bread crumbs with crushed gold fish crackers! It was super yummy. I almost used the pizza gold fish by mistake. Who knows, it could have been a happy accident. I may try crushed potato chips next time.

I’d like to stick with just sharp cheddar, I used both regular and sharp in this batch. I  made way to much, but I wanted to leftover to try out a fried mac and cheese recipe. I’ll fry some up  and let you know the verdict!

  1. Crished goldfish crackers? I never would have thought to try that. Potato chips sounds awesome, too!

  2. Love the idea of crushed goldfish crackers…I hadn’t really thought to deviate from the breadcrumb route, but I guess the possibilities are endless.

  3. So when are you making this for me? Looks super good.

  4. also, I make good mac and cheese too but I never tried to make it with goldfish. Sounds interesting.
