CALL ME DR. G, DOG MEDICINE WOMAN

"I can't be out here with all this...sun! I haven't had my seaweed peel yet."

I spent the past  few days dog-sitting at my brothers house. He has two German Shepherds with radically different personalities. One is crazy-hyper, and the other is getting older and just likes to rest. The older one, is on loads of doggie meds for his arthritic hip. I had to shovel pills down his throat because he is sick of taking them. I also had to use a strap and lift up his hind legs when letting him upstairs. In addition to my pill-shoveling services, I acted as his body-guard when getting him outside. The other dog  likes to rush n’ attack him when they are outside. I kept yelling at her to “respect your elders.”  But she refuses to listen! The older dog doesn’t really like to be outside when its too cold, wet, dry, dark, or sunny either . His neurotic nature reminds me of Melman from Madagascar.

“You want me to go out THERE?! My paws will get wet!”

  1. I wish that dogs listened when I told them to do stuff. I tell my huskymutts to clean up the socks they insist on throwing everywhere and yet they never seem to listen. Jerks.
