I used to brave the early morning and go shopping in NH with my mom. We stopped going years ago, since the deals just really aren’t worth the efforts and the crowds. We never went into big stores like Wal-Mart or Target though. I just don’t get why people go so ape-shit to save a few bucks. I mean, I like not paying full price but it’s just not worth the crazy.

How did I spend my Black Friday? I woke up at 10am and had some coffee. I also let my dog out and fed him before working out. Andy and I also cleaned the bathroom, and I vacuumed part of the apartment. Crazy stuff, I know! I did some online shopping, which didn’t involve hobo-shanking a customer for 10% off a 13″ TV. I re-discovered my Nintendo DS and played some Super Mario on the couch. I also ran a virus scan on my computer and am making a back-up file. Oh yeah, my first Avon order arrived so I organized it so I can drop off orders to people. FUN TIMES UP IN HERE! I’m going to get ready for an 11-year high school reunion soon. Our “freeunion” went well last year, so we’re doing it again. I hope there is a good turn out, but I’ll still stuff my face and have some beers either way.

  1. I gave up on Black Friday long ago. It was a miserable experience the one time I did it and I’ll never do it again. It’s not that serious to me.
