Following up on my last fitness post, I’ve worked out 28 days of the last 30. Woohoo, hi-five team self! I’ve been alternating between Jillian Michaels Shred, Jillian Michaels Yoga, Mandy Ingber Yogalosophy, and some cardio at the gym. I’m thinking of switching out Yoga Meltdown, with Jillian’s new DVD, Yoga Inferno! I’m also going to mix in some Pop Physique workouts to mix things up. At this point, I actually look forward to working out. I found a time slot that works for me and have come to really love yoga. I didn’t think it would be possible, but forcing myself to work out each day has made me like it. I think I enjoy it because I’m not doing crazy workouts that make me loathe having to do it again, what fun is that?! I guess you need to find what works for you and go on with it.
I wish I could say my pants aren’t still tight, but I know these things can take time. Plus, I haven’t really been concentrating on my hips and thighs for work outs. But I’m definitely way more toned and got my cholesterol back to normal! I’m thinking of mixing in some dedicated leg work outs to help. The past couple of weeks I’ve been working on eating better. Andy also got himself a juicer for Christmas, so I joke that we’ve been juicin’ in my apartment. Watch out A-Rod!
