PARTY’S OVER

Know what’s awesome? GLITTER! Know what is not awesome? Trying to take glitter nail polish off! So I jumped at the oppurtunity to get Julep’s Party’s Over glitter nail polish removal kit. It went on sale and I decided to give it a try. I made sure to slather a bunch of glitter on my nails last week and took it off yesterday with the kit.

The kit comes with a set of 10 rubber caps and 5 packs of nail polish remover strips (each pack has 10 strips). It’s pretty easy to use, but can be tricky to get on when your other hand already has the rubber caps on. I should have left them on longer than 3 minutes, but most of glitter came off pretty easy! I like that the caps are reusable. I may try using cut up paper towels soaked in acetone if I get lazy and don’t want to get more packs of nail polish remover strips. I used it near a trash barrel as well since the strips can drip when applying to nails.

To Use:

  1. Open packette & place one aloe vera-infused pad on nail
  2. Cover with nail cap. (Use large caps for thumbs.)
  3. Once nails are covered, sit back & relax for 3-5 minutes
  4. Squeeze & pull to remove cap & pad. Use pad to wipe off any leftover glitter

Oh yeah, fun news! I got a runner-up Rimmel prize from Influenster! I can’t wait to try Rimmel Scandaleyes Retro Glam mascara.
