I’m all for using the internet to make things easier, I hate running errands. One “adulty” thing I hate to do especially, is grocery shop. I don’t know what it is, but I just absolutely hate doing it. I don’t know anyone that actually *likes* to grocery shop for that matter. I also tend to get carried away while shopping and spend way more than I want to. This is why we like grocery delivery services. I don’t have to leave my couch or fail at adding up whats in my cart as we shop. Screw you, maths! 😉

Anyway, I’ve tried Peapod delivery service before since we usually use Stop & Shop anyway. I have no complaints about Peapod, despite messing up a couple of things on orders here an there. They are quick to rectify the situation when you call them though. My issue is with grocery store prices when you live in the city.

I stumbled into Instacart and they have a much bigger selection of grocery stores to choose from. We opted to try Market Basket this week, since their prices are much better than competitors. I like the option of picking from different stores instead of being tied down to one. You can totally shop multiple grocery stores at the same time, but you will incur separate shipping fees (if applicable). I’m going to assume a different delivery person may send them to you as well (?). They don’t really explain that on the FAQ page, but no matter to me. I generally find most of what I needed from Market Basket anyway. We shall see the results when they deliver our groceries.

Now if only the internet could dry my hair for me, that would be great!

* This is not a paid or sponsored post. We paid for Instacart and Peapod services, all opinions are my own.
