This weekend has been pretty busy! I decided to change my blue hair streak to purple. I’m liking it so far, and my hair took the purple on the first apply. The blue was always temperamental and required a double application. I don’t have the patience to sit in a salon for more than 1 1/2 hours, so the double blue application always put me over the edge. I don’t know why this happens, but I start to get really cranky. Anyway, since I got up early for my appointment, I took a nice nap before dinner.
Andy and I decided to have a nice dinner at Del Friscos. I wore a new dress, octopus earrings, and my new One Direction lipstick. haha! Andy got a NY strip steak and it looked delicious. I got beef short rib stroganoff, which so yummy! I liked the atmosphere and we were seated right away. The beer selection was kinda small, so we each got Yuengling. Overall, it was a really good experience! We want to try Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse next time. You know whats sad? As many restaurants that I’ve gone to, I have never been to Capital Grille. I remind Andy of this fact weekly, and he keeps saying that we’ll go. Obviously I have yet to see this happen. But I’m not worried about it, I’d rather try Ruth’s first anyway.
After dinner, we met some friends at House of Blues. A friends band was playing in the restaurant section, and the place wasn’t that packed. I think it was because the Sox game got out an hour or two before and people just wanted to go home instead of sticking around. They had a good set with some cover songs. I (of course) appreciated the Paul Simon they slipped in. There was a silver fox (in the white tank pic below) trying to get Brian and other random people to dance with her.
Once the set was over, we made our way to Bleacher Bar. I actually really like Bleacher Bar, it’s kinda small but it offers a great view of the field at Fenway Park, plus they have pretzels! Can’t go wrong, right? We saw some train-wreck dude there. He took his shirt off and some random girl licked his nipple. Then a bunch of bros hugged him and he danced around horribly. Thankfully, he got kicked out. But I noticed about five minutes later, he was seriously attempting to sneak past the bouncer who was staring at him to get back in. I then noticed shirtless guys dad took off his shirt, then his son followed suit. They danced and hugged on the sidewalk. I have no idea what was going on there, but Andy was outside so he gave me scoop on some of it. I don’t get why people think it’s cool to be train wreck. Learn to handle yourself, asshole!
