Andy and I cooking our way through our latest Blue Apron shipment. I thawed the steaks on Sunday and we made hanger steaks with roasted potatoes.This time I did all the food prep and Andy cooked the steaks and sauteed the veggies. I didn’t lose a finger or cut myself while using the sharp knives. High five team self! 😉 I was in charge of roasting the potatoes too. The meal came out really good! We could have used bigger steaks though. Considering we had Del Frisco’s the night before, we definitely had our fair share of steaks in a 24 hour period.
Tonight we’re making Parmesan-basil chicken patties. The recipe also includes Roman beans and barley. I’m not sure I’ve ever eaten barley before, just consumed it in beer form. So I hope I like it! I’ll be sure to post pics on my Instagram account.
