“THE TRUTH IS OUT THERE”

I had a really busy weekend. I had a hair appointment and I went a bit bold, but I’ll save that for my next post. Anyway, we went to Flatbread Pizza Company/Sacco’s Bowl Haven on Saturday night. The place was hoppin’. They told us it would be about a 30 minute wait for a table and longer than that to bowl. So we squeezed ourselves into the bar area. The bar itself is made from re-purposed bowling alley flooring. The bar was packed though, but it miraculously thinned out 15 minutes later. It was weird, but I wasn’t complaining! Our food came out really fast and I think I ate too much, hence why my stomach was bothering me the next day. I think since I’ve been eating healthier and sticking to my calorie limit, my stomach got used to it. So eating too much pizza didn’t go over well. It was still delicious and I have no “ragrets”, not one single letter. 😉

After that, we tried to go the hidden Saloon but it was crowded and filled with bros. NO THANKS! So we took our party to Five Horses Tavern, where there was plenty of seating. We are too old to deal with annoying college kids and hipsters. Heck, I didn’t even like college kids when I was in college, so I’m not going to start hanging out with them now. haha!

On our way home, we noticed a vivid green sky. After our Lyft driver dropped us off, we ran inside to let Zorro in and out, then shuffled off to find the source of the green sky. We drove towards the green sky and ended up at a cemetery at 1:30AM. We thought we could cut thru, but we couldn’t after walking around. After gathering some creepy pictures, we left.

We got back to the car and parked on a college campus. We wandered around and hit some road blocks so we couldn’t access the stadium. After snapping some cool pictures, we could see part of an LED sign next to the stadium. We concluded the green sky was reflecting from the super bright stadium sign. Since it was rainy and humid out, it really lit up the sky. It’s definitely a case of the adventure being cooler than the answer. It was a lot of fun running around a cemetery and college campus with Andy. I had to wash my feet when we got home though. I forgot to change into sneakers and my feet got wet and dirty from wearing flip-flops. I’ll try to be better prepared next time we hunt aliens.
